OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City RedHawks added another entry in their record book Sunday with a 5-4 win against the Albuquerque Isotopes in front of 4,847 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The win was the RedHawks' 15th consecutive win at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, breaking the previous record of 14 straight home wins first set last season and matched during the current winning streak.

Sunday's victory improved Oklahoma City's record to 73-56 overall and boosted the RedHawks' lead to six games in the Pacific Coast League American Southern Division standings – their largest lead of the season.

Starting pitcher Asher Wojciechowski (8-6) recorded his team-leading eighth win of the season. He allowed three runs and seven hits through 7.1 innings, walked one and tied his season-best with eight strikeouts.

The RedHawks scored first and went on to build a 5-0 lead through four innings.

A two-RBI single by outfielder Che-Hsuan Lin in the bottom of the second inning gave the RedHawks a 2-0 edge.

Oklahoma City outfielder George Springer led off the bottom of the fourth inning with a home run to center field that landed in the RedHawks' bullpen. The homer was Springer's 35th of the season (16th with OKC). He now has 100 RBI and 98 runs scored this season during his time in Triple-A and Double-A combined.

The RedHawks added two more runs in the fourth inning on a RBI triple by Jimmy Paredes and a RBI groundout by Lin for a 5-0 lead. Lin finished the night with a game-high three RBI.

Albuquerque (67-62) battled back. The Isotopes scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning on a double by Eliezer Alfonzo to get on the scoreboard for the first time Sunday.

A RBI single by Matt Angle cut the RedHawks' lead to two runs in the eighth. In the ninth, Albuquerque's Elian Herrera doubled to score Dee Gordon and cut the RedHawks' lead to one.

RedHawks relievers Patrick Urckfitz and Jason Stoffel held Albuquerque scoreless. Jorge De Leon allowed one run and two hits in the ninth inning and picked up his third save with Oklahoma City.

The RedHawks continue their five-game stretch against Albuquerque at 7:05 p.m. Monday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
