Jury selection got underway Monday in the trial of Zane Atchison. He's charged with two counts of first degree murder in the August 2011 shooting deaths of Patrick Shawn and Kaylyn Kosofsky in south Tulsa.

Prosecutors say the motive for the shooting was a large drug debt owed by Shawn.

Police arrested Atchison the day after the shooting, after he tried to steal a pickup truck.

The District Attorney is seeking the death penalty.

Another man is also charged in the deaths. Joel Pina is still awaiting trial.
