One Tulsa company's new piece of equipment is highlighting the impact smaller businesses can have on Oklahoma's economy.

APS-CO is installing a $750,000 machine that's the only one of its kind in our area.

The equipment has a 12-station system, which allows it to run a multitude of jobs based on supply and demand.

APS-CO makes cylinders, controls, and valves for the automotive industry. The company's CEO says, while the machine is good for the company, it also shows the importance a robust manufacturing industry can have on our state.

"The way we're able to do that is we're bringing work back in from overseas and from other states," CEO Larry Mocha said. "So that's the exciting part. We're bringing stuff back to Tulsa where it belongs."

Mocha went on to say he believes Tulsa is on the verge of a manufacturing renaissance.
