Next Wednesday, the Sapulpa Rib Crib is helping a Kellyville family get through a difficult time.

If you present this flyer at the Rib Crib at 705 South Mission Street in Sapulpa on September 4, the restaurant will donate 10 percent of your ticket to the family of four people killed in a tragic car accident.

Vernon Bowles, Susie Frazier, Vivian Henry and 9-year-old Alex were killed on August 23, 2013, in a head-on collision on Highway 66.

"My grandmother, my aunt, my nephew and my grandmother's boyfriend are all gone," said Cristy Evans.

The family was headed home from back-to-school shopping when their car crashed with a red pickup, driven by David Ernst. Ernst was arrested on four complaints of manslaughter after the accident. He has not been charged. The Creek County prosecutor said he plans to review the case when they get more information from the investigation.
