The Tulsa Shock may be eliminated from playoff contention, but that hasn't dampened their desire to win and finish the season strong.

Riquana Williams hit a pair of free throws with 21.1 seconds remaining to help lift the Shock to a 93-88 victory over the New York Liberty Sunday afternoon.

Candice Wiggins scored a season-high 25 points and Williams added 22 to lead the Shock offensively.

Cappie Pondexter finished with 20 points and became the 12th player in WNBA history to eclipse 5,000 career points when she hit a 3-pointer with 35.3 seconds remaining to tie the game at 86.

Former Oklahoma star Courtney Paris answered for Tulsa with a three-point play to give the Shock an 89-86 lead with 28.9 seconds left. Pondexter scored to make it a one-point game with 22.1 seconds remaining, but those would be the last points scored by the Liberty.

Wiggins had 20 of her 25 points in the first half, including six 3-pointers, as Tulsa hit 9 of 13 first-half tries from beyond the arc to claim a 52-48 lead at intermission.

Sunday's win assured Tulsa (10-20) of its first double-digit-win season since the team relocated from Detroit prior to the 2010 season.
