Ardmore Man Arrested For Kidnapping, Raping 7-Year-Old Girl

Police arrested an Ardmore man who is accused of kidnapping a 7-year-old girl and raping her.

The girl's mother says she woke up Monday and her daughter was missing; but it didn't take long for police to track down the suspect and the child.

Witnesses actually gave officers a description which led them to Brandon Marusak. He lives in the same apartment complex as the victim.

All of this has neighbors on edge.

"Kind of thing that you see on movies or something. Somebody just coming into the place where you're staying in the middle of the night, and taking your 7-year-old little girl when you're sleeping in the room right next to them," neighbor Aaron Armstrong said.

Right now, police are trying to figure out if Marusak has preyed on any other children. They say evidence at the scene suggests there may be other victims.
