Police: Robber Asks For Cigarette, Takes Woman's Purse

A woman was robbed at gunpoint just before 6 a.m. Wednesday at Tulsa's Pheasant Run Apartments, 7300 South Wheeling. Police say the robber first approached the woman to ask for a cigarette.

The woman said she told the man she didn't have a cigarette, and he pulled out a gun and told her to give him her purse, according to Tulsa Police. She did so, and the robber ran off towards the Foxfire Apartment complex.

The man is described as white, about 6' tall and 180-200 pounds. He was dressed in a dark T-shirt and blue jeans.
