Chickasha High School Vice Principal Injured Trying To Break Up Fight

CHICKASHA, Oklahoma -

The vice principal at Chickasha High School is injured after she tried to break up a fight between two students.

According to Chickasha police, officers were called to the school around 8 a.m. Tuesday after two high school students starting fighting in a bathroom on the school's campus. Police say while school officials were trying to stop the fight, Vice Principal Rhonda Beth Snow was hit in the face by one of the students.

Snow suffered a cut to her face. She was treated at a local hospital. The two students were escorted to the administrative offices at the school.

Police say the 15-year-old suspect faces a charge of assault and battery against a school employee. After processing the juvenile was released to his guardian with an appearance scheduled with the Office of Juvenile Affairs.
