OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Omaha Storm Chasers scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning and hung on for a 7-4 win against the Oklahoma City RedHawks in Game 2 of the PCL American Conference Finals Thursday in front of 4,482 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The win gave Omaha a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series, which now shifts to Omaha's Werner Park for Game 3 Friday.

The RedHawks had taken a 4-2 lead in the fourth inning on a three-run homer by Jon Singleton before Omaha's offense broke out in the sixth inning.

Oklahoma City's opponent had scored first Thursday for the 10th time in the last 11 games, including the regular season.

A sac fly by Omaha's Rey Navarro scored Lane Adams, who walked, for a 1-0 lead in the second inning and extended to a 2-0 in the top of the fourth inning when Paulo Orlando grounded into a force out and Adams scored.

RedHawk Brandon Laird singled to left field to score Jose Martinez, who got on base with a single, to cut Omaha's lead to 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Singleton followed with a booming three-run homer into the Devon Energy Deck on top of the right field wall put the RedHawks ahead, 4-2.

Omaha scored five times in the sixth inning on four hits. Mitch Canham reached on a RedHawks fielding error and Navarro scored to cut the RedHawks' lead to one. A RBI double by Gorkys Hernandez tied the game, 4-4, with one out. A two-run double by Irving Falu put the Storm Chasers back in front, 6-4, and a RBI single by Ben Broussard gave Omaha a three-run edge.

The RedHawks are now 12-23 overall in the postseason, including 6-12 at home. They were charged with three errors in the game and allowed four unearned runs in their seventh straight playoff loss.

Omaha starting pitcher Clay Mortensen (1-0) allowed four runs and five hits over 5.0 innings. He walked two and struck out four. Zach Jackson was credited with the save.

RedHawks starter David Martinez pitched 4.2 innings, allowing two runs and four hits. Reliever Eric Berger (0-1) was charged with the loss, allowing five runs and four hits in 1.0 inning. He walked two and struck out one.
