Trevor Knight could miss one to two weeks with a sprained MCL (medial collateral ligament) and PCL (posterior cruciate ligament) and a bruised bursa sac according to Bob Stoops on his weekly Big 12 conference call.

The redshirt freshman injured the knee on a run at the end of the first half of the Sooners' 16-7 conference opening win against West Virginia. He continued to play on it into the third quarter but struggled, tossing back to back interceptions. Blake Bell, who replaced Knight in the fourth quarter, will get the start against Tulsa this Saturday.

Cornerback Aaron Colvin took a trip to the dentist for a possible cracked tooth, but Stoops said the senior should be fine.

Quarterback Kendal Thompson (foot) and offensive tackle Tyrus Thompson (ankle) are expected to practice on Monday.
