The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man and woman accused of abducting a 7-month-old girl from a Noble home, and holding the baby for ransom.

On Wednesday, the district attorney charged Randy Dewayne Camp, 30, and Christina Ann Wilcox, 28, with kidnapping for the purpose of extortion, and first-degree burglary.

Police say the two went to a home in the 7000 block of 144th Street Monday around 10 p.m., and kicked in the front door. A 35-year-old man was at the home with the infant, but the baby's parents were not there.

Police say when Camp and Wilcox searched the house and couldn't find the parents, they packed the child's belongings, took the baby, and put the little girl in their car. The man babysitting the child said Wilcox told him, "If they want the baby back, I'm at my house and bring $400 and they can get the baby back."

Camp and Wilcox then left with the child. Police say the baby's parents knew the two suspects, and had previously lived with them at their home.

The babysitter called 911, and deputies soon spotted Camp and Wilcox's car. They pulled the vehicle over and discovered the kidnapped baby in the vehicle, along with the suspects' two children. The baby was returned, unharmed, to her parents. The suspects' children were given to a family member.

Deputies arrested Camp and Wilcox, and booked them into the Cleveland County Detention Center.
