Baby Injured After Three-Car Hit-And-Run Accident In NW OKC

A 9-month-olf baby was injured in a three-car hit-and-run- accident in northwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday afternoon.

It happened near NW 10^th St and N. Tulsa Ave.

Police say the suspect, described as a black male wearing a blue shirt and camouflage colored shorts, abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene on foot. A load of white paint was spilled in the crash, and police believe the suspect may be covered from head to toe with the paint.

Police arrested the suspect in the 4200 block of NW 12th St around 4:15 p.m.

The baby was transported from the scene by ambulance to a local hospital. The child's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Two adults were also transported to the hospital from this accident. They are also listed in good condition.
