Rapper 2 Chainz calls his experience with Oklahoma City police frustrating.

The rapper apologized to Oklahoma City and his fans during an interview on MTV News. The incident last month caused a delay in his scheduled appearances.

Watch an excerpt of his interview on MTV News.

It all happened just before midnight on August 21, when police spotted a defective taillight on the bus carrying 2 Chainz and his entourage following a concert at the Chesapeake Arena. Officers stopped the bus near Meridian, but were not allowed on the bus. Instead, the group asked to see search warrant.

The bus was towed to police training facility, with everyone still on board, while officers obtained a warrant to search the bus. According to court papers, police found marijuana residue, smoking pipes, rolling papers and scales. They also discovered the prescription pills Hydrocodone and Flexeril as well as two semi-automatic pistols and a 12-gauge shotgun, along with ammunition for the weapons.

Police arrested everyone on the bus for obstruction, including rapper 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps. The all bonded out of jail the same day.

In the MTV interview, 2 Chainz says he lives by the book and he didn't know that asking the police to get a search warrant would result in obstruction charges.
