It'll be four months this week since the deadly Moore tornado hit. And as storm victims work to rebuild, one woman says she's being targeted by looters.

Kayla Chandler says she just started rebuilding her home a few weeks ago and already on Friday, someone stole copper and her A/C unit.

"We're trying to get the house closed up as quickly as possible, so that nothing gets weathered inside.  And we can save what we have," said Chandler.

The race to rebuild is on for Kayla Chandler. She lost half her home in the May 20 tornado and moved in a few months before.

"It's just been hard, it's been really hard. My grandma wrote a cash check out for this house," Chandler said.

But she doesn't have any insurance, so she has her father and friends rebuilding her home for her near SW 149th St. and Santa Fe Ave. Then this happened. Chandler says looters stole her A/C unit Friday night and all her copper.

Chandler says she's overwhelmed and even put a sign up, begging anyone to help her rebuild. She says she can't be on the lookout 24/7 taking care of her newborn and her one-year-old daughter Zierra. Plus, both homes are each side of her home have been demolished, and Chandler's house is left wide open.

"So whatever materials, anybody puts outside their home, home, or inside their home, for the next day or the next weekend after coming to work, they could be gone tomorrow. They could be gone tonight," said Chandler.

Chandler says neighbors here say they didn't see a thing. And it doesn't help that the street light in front of her home is broken.

Chandler did call Moore Police. No arrests have been made. If anyone would like to help Chandler with building materials, she can be reached at (405) 514-0143
