Bicyclist Injured Following Hit And Run Accident In Del City

Crews are investigating a hit and run accident in Del City.

It happened around noon Wednesday near I-40 and S. Sunnylane Road when a motorist hit a bicyclist. The man hit was alert as paramedics treated him at the scene. No word on his exact condition, however, the victim was transported to a local hospital.

The man was reportedly riding his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver then took off. No vehicle description has been released yet.
