A former Thunder player and a rapper pleaded ‘not guilty' on domestic assault charges during their formal arraignments on Friday.

The well-known defendants are accused of everything from punching a woman in the face to stomping on a woman's head. Former Oklahoma City Thunder Guard DeAndre Liggins and his friend Marcus Rogers made a trip to the Oklahoma County Jail on Friday morning before heading to the courthouse.

Liggins was there to his support for Rogers who surrendered to police on kidnapping and assault charges. Both are accused in a domestic violence case involving Liggins's girlfriend. They refused to comment on the allegations against them.

Court records reveal the details of the case. Reports show the girlfriend told police Liggins pulled her out of bed by her hair, punched her a dozen time, stomped on her head and then threw an Xbox, and a box fan at her head. When she tried to get away, Rogers allegedly held her against her will.

The incident allegedly happened in front of the couple's 2-year-old son in August 2013. The Thunder released Liggins soon after his arrest. Still he mumbled to the media today, "I love [my] fans and love Oklahoma."

Meanwhile, another high-profile defendant, the President of Lil' Wayne's record label and rapper known as Mack Maine surrendered to police. The rapper, whose real name is Jermaine Preyan, allegedly got into an altercation with two women on a tour bus last month following a Lil' Wayne concert in Oklahoma City.

Preyan is accused of groping one of the women and then punching the other in the face, breaking her jaw. Prosecutors charged him with aggravated assault and sexual battery.

All three were arraigned following their visit at the jail. Each entered a not guilty plea before Judge Hall in Oklahoma County. They've declined our request for interviews.
