Families who lost their homes on May 20 are getting a help from a company that experienced extreme tragedy on 9/11.

New York based financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald handed out $1000 gift cards to Moore families.

Cantor Fitzgerald lost 658 of its 960 New York employees on Sept. 11, 2001.

Every family whose home was damaged or destroyed on May 20 and also had a child in a Moore school was eligible for the gift card.

The gift cards were handed out Monday at First Baptist Church in Moore.

Lines wrapped around the church gymnasium, as 1300 families were eligible for the gift card.

"This is going to help with my kids' Christmas, that may have been non-existent this year," said Moore resident Natosha Cagle.
