An Oklahoma City woman's home was ransacked Monday morning. Thieves took all her electronics, including tapes of her son who died last year. She has a plea to get the videos back.

"I should've locked my deadbolt, I didn't lock my deadbolt," said Tiffany Morgan. "That was my mistake."

A mistake that Tiffany Morgan says made her an easy target for thieves to break in her Oklahoma City apartment near N.W. 36th Street. She went to an appointment around 8:45 Monday morning, and when she returned an hour later, her TVs, camera and even her toilet paper were gone.

"Whoever it was is bold," said Morgan. "They went out the front door and nobody saw anything, that's what's strange about that."

The most prized possession stolen were mini video cassette tapes of her family. Morgan only has one left.

"I had just given her about 30 videotapes last week, so we can put them on DVDs they're the little mini-cassettes she was going through them," said Chuck Saunders, Morgan's stepfather. "And the significance of them, they were all of our grandson Chae."

Chae Morgan, 26, died when his car crashed on Highway 152 near Morgan Road in August 2012. Morgan says the tapes have every Thanksgiving, Christmas and birthday with Chae.

"They're very important to all of us," said Morgan. "It's the only way we can hear his voice or see him because we don't have that now."

Now, the family is offering a cash reward to see those tapes returned.

"We would love to have them back, we're willing to do anything," said Saunders. "I've offered a $500 reward, no questions asked at all, just give us the tapes back."

Morgan says the video tapes have close to two decades of their family's memories on them. If you've seen the video tapes or know where the they are, the family asks that you call them at: (405)-675-7748.
