The feds say Oklahomans will pay less for health insurance than previously thought under the new health care laws -- 16 percent less to be exact.
The US Department of Health and Human Services says premiums will range between $174 and $266 dollars a month. But there are tax credits available from the government to help pay those premiums.
When you take those credits into account, the Health and Human Services says a 27-year old Oklahoman making 25-thousand dollars a year will pay 84 dollars a month for the lowest cost plan.
A family of four making 50-thousand dollars a year would only pay 63 dollars a month on the lowest cost plan.
