One Dead, Two Injured After Car Collides With Tree In MWC

One person was killed and two others were injured after a single-vehicle accident in northeast Oklahoma City, Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m. in the 7400 block of NE 23^rd St.

Few details are known at this time. Midwest City Police say the car appears to have left the roadway for an unknown reason and collided with a tree.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, two others were taken to a local hospital in unknown conditions.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
