OKC Man Calls Police, Gets Arrested After Photos Of Underage Girls Found

An Oklahoma City man called police for help after the father of the 15-year-old girl he was texting demanded money; but he's the one who ended up in jail after police found some disturbing photos on his cell phone.

Twenty-two-year-old Rusty Warren called police October 16. Warren said he'd been texting and speaking with a 15-year-old Georgia girl he met online. Warren said the girl told him her age in a text, but he didn't see it and didn't realize she was underage.

Warren said the girl's father found out, and threatened to call the police unless Warren put money on a prepaid debit card. Warren called police to report it. When police asked to look at his two cell phones, Warren agreed.

Officers read text conversations between Warren and the girl, including the message that stated her age. In one conversation, Warren sexually propositioned the girl. Police also found three photos of a half-naked female who appeared to be underage.

Police also spoke to Warren's wife. She said before they married, Warren had communicated in a similar way with another 15-year-old girl.

Police arrested Warren and booked him into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of possession of child pornography, and soliciting sexual conduct or communication with minors by use of technology.
