The two men charged with shooting five people at a Tulsa party appeared in court Monday, one of them entering a plea.

Meng Lee pleaded not guilty to shooting with intent to kill and five counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon. Court records show his preliminary hearing is set for November 12.

The other suspect, Boonmlee Lee appeared in court without counsel on Monday and his arraignment was passed to November 18.

Police say Boonmlee Lee and Meng Lee opened fire during a Hmong New Year's celebration at the Green Country Event Center on October 12.

Hundreds of people had to be evacuated. The five people who were hit are expected to recover.

Witnesses told us they believe the motive was family related.

Both suspects remain in the Tulsa County jail on $275,000 bond.
