OSU is the latest university to consider banning E-Cigarettes or "Vapes" on campus. I said Wednesday night these fake cigarettes are helping a lot of people quit smoking tobacco and such bans might be short sighted. Many of you agree with me.
Amanda writes: "Thank you for actually doing research!"
And Warren adds: "That guy actually GETS it! We need MORE honest journalists like him!"
John doesn't think so: "Smoking is a dirty, disgusting habit. I don't care if it's an actual cigarette or one of this silly ‘harmless' E-Cigarettes. Your 2 cents wasn't worth much this time."
Tony writes: "I thank you Kelly I have smoked for over 25 years and The E-Cigs helped me get off of tobacco products."
Mark says: "In polite company nothing should come out of your mouth but words. Not food, not spittle, not vapor, not smoke, nothing. Don't expect them to be welcomed everywhere."
Ronald adds to that: "You do not want to have people smoking or imitating smoking around children."
To which Pat responded: "This kind of hyper 'protect-the-children' mentality because they saw someone smoking? Calm it down a notch."
But most comments were like Sharon's: "I used an e-cig for 2 months and quit after 32 years of smoking."
And Shirley's: "I have smoked for 53 years, started e-cigarette in May. They have worked for me. I feel so much better, hope to quit them too."
