Police: Wet Road May Have Caused Tulsa Motorcycle Crash

Tulsa Police say a wet roadway may have led to a motorcycle crash on I-44 late Monday.

Officers tell News On 6 a motorcycle rider was exiting westbound I-44 to southbound Highway 75 when he lost control and crashed at about 11:30 p.m.

EMSA paramedics took the rider to the hospital. Police say he is expected to be okay.

"It's extremely hazardous conditions when we haven't had rain in a while; the oil on the road makes it extremely slick," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Gary Otterstrom.

Police said no one else was involved in the crash.
