TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police have arrested a man they say sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman at a North Tulsa park last Thursday evening, just days after being arrested for sexual battery.

Nathan Kyle Weiss, 27, of Detroit, is being booked into jail Tuesday evening, and police say it's not the first time he's been in the Tulsa County jail.

On October 24, investigators say a 19-year-old woman was sitting on a park bench at Springdale Park, at 2300 East Pine Street, around 7 p.m., when a man came up to her and introduced himself as "Nathan."

He then started touching her hands and making her uncomfortable and she moved to another bench, according to the arrest report.

Police say the suspect went away and left her alone for a while, but then returned and grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to the ground. He then dragged her behind a wall and raped her.

According to the arrest report, the victim screamed for help, but he continued to hold her down.

He left pushing a baby stroller that had a basket full of clothes, police say.

Detectives with the Tulsa Police Sex Crimes unit recognized the victim's description of her attacker as a man they had arrested in the same park for sexual battery four days earlier, Nathan Kyle Weiss.

Officers say the woman was leaving Springdale Park at about 6:30 p.m. After she put her toddler in a car seat, Weiss reached out and grabbed the woman's breasts, his arrest report states.

Weiss bonded out of jail the next day after that incident.

Police searched a home in the 1600 block of North Yorktown Avenue Tuesday and found clothes matching the description the victim had provided and the baby stroller. When they interviewed Weiss's family members at the home, they told police Weiss would put a basket full of clothes in the stroller and push it toward the laundromat near the park.

When police questioned Weiss after he was arrested Tuesday, he admitted to being arrested "two to three" times in Detroit for sexual battery and rape.

He's now being held without bond on a complaint of rape by force.
