OKC Man Arrested For Abusing Girlfriend's Son

Oklahoma City police arrested a man Thursday night who is accused of abusing his girlfriend's son.

According to police, just before 10 p.m. Thursday, a woman called police saying her boyfriend, later identified as 33-year-old Brandon Francis Nash, had assaulted her young son.

The woman said she met Nash online about a year ago, and he had been staying at her apartment for the past five days. She said she left the apartment at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. When she returned, she noticed the injuries on her son's body.

According to the police report, the boy had a knot and a small cut on his head. He had bruising on the left side of his neck consistent with finger marks. He also had red marks, swelling, and bruising on his back, and visible red marks on his left shoulder.

Officers were able to locate Nash and take him into custody. He has been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on several charges, including child abuse and domestic abuse.
