An Osage County jury Thursday night found a man not guilty of committing a 2009 murder in North Tulsa.

Police said Nathaniel Brailford initially called 911 on November 28, 2009, to report he had shot someone who was breaking into his home.

Investigators found 43-year-old Richard Wynn lying in the entrance of the home with several gunshot wounds.

When police questioned Brailford, he said Wynn had refused to leave the house after they had both been drinking that Friday night.

Brailford was charged with first degree murder and his trial started on October 16, 2013, in Osage County, as the shooting took place north of the Tulsa County line.
