Broken Arrow Chamber Launches 'Buy BA' Holiday Campaign

Broken Arrow Friday kicked off a campaign to keep shopping dollars close to home. .

The annual "Buy Broken Arrow" program encourages residents to do their holiday shopping at local businesses.

As you spend money, you collect tickets. Then, on December 17, the Chamber of Commerce will give away $15,000 in cash prizes to some lucky ticket-holders.

"It encourages our residents to be aware of the importance of shopping locally, in their own backyard, but it's also an exciting event that allows people all across the metro area to come to Broken Arrow to shop and have fun and have a chance to win some money," said Broken Arrow Chamber President Wes Smithwick.

There are several new businesses taking part this year, and more than ever from the downtown Rose District.
