Silver Alert Canceled After Missing Tulsa Man Found Safe

Tulsa Police have canceled a Silver Alert after a missing 81-year-old man has been found safe.

Ernest Leroy Walker was last seen around 7 a.m. Sunday 6200 block of East 36th Street. Police say Walker suffers from dementia and shuffles when he walks.

He is described as a black male, 6' tall and 136 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing a tan or wine-colored jacket, red sweater, blue jeans and red and white Nike shoes. Walker was carrying a burgundy Bible.

At about 12:30 p.m. Tulsa police confirmed that Walker has been found at Morningstar Baptist Church, located at 1000 E. Pine Street.
