The deputy superintendent is charting a course to better education at Tulsa Public Schools.
TPS Deputy Superintendent Kim Dyce laid out her plan Tuesday, emphasizing academics and accountability.
Her plan also puts a focus on reading and using 21st Century technology to track and improve student performance.
"Being able to really look at students in classrooms, but being able to track them individually and determine what are some of the specific differentiated supports they need to be successful," Dyce said.
Dyce was hired earlier this fall, after the deputy superintendent position went unfilled for more than a year.
