TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police arrested three men they say led them on a high-speed chase late Wednesday night.

Officers said one of the men pulled a gun on an officer and ended up being tackled by a K-9 officer.

The incident began Wednesday night at about 11 when officers tried to stop a stolen pickup near Admiral and Sheridan.

The truck sped off, at one point hitting speeds up to 100 mph on U.S. Highway 169, and a high rate of speed through residential areas, according to police. An officer said the driver ran several red lights and multiple stop signs and never signaled to make turns.

The stolen truck finally came to a stop in the 9000 block of East 30th and the men ditched the gun and ran off. The TPD helicopter tracked them and a K-9 officer and his partner pursued them on the ground.

Police identify the driver as Bruce Dolt Martin, 58. They say when he got out of the truck, he tried to pull a gun on them but a K-9 officer bit him and he had to be taken to the hospital.

Police said his two passengers got out of the truck and ran into the neighborhood where officers eventually arrested them. Police identify them as Jason Holland and George Gragg.

Fortunately, no other drivers were affected by the chase.

"Pretty light traffic, so we weren't too concerned about running into other people, citizens being out, dealing with this knucklehead driving at high rates of speed," said Corporal Dan Miller.

Court records show all three men have criminal backgrounds.

The gun recovered was loaded with eight bullets and officers found an additional six rounds in Martin's pocket.
