TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police say a man with a gun took a tip jar from a Subway restaurant late Wednesday.

Officers said a man wearing white pants and an OSU jacket stole the tip jar from the Subway at 11th and Delaware just after 10:15 p.m.

Police said the only person in the restaurant at the time was an employee who ran next door to the Taco Bueno. A man waiting in the drive-thru lane called 911 and followed the robber to the area near 10th and Columbia.

A woman told police she saw a man running through an apartment complex at Birmingham and Atlanta.

Police searched the area with help of the police helicopter, but could not find anyone matching the thief's description.
