Mayes County Jailer Arrested, Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Female Inmate

Pryor Police say they arrested a Mayes County jailer accused of inappropriately touching a female inmate.

They say 23-year-old Aaron Peters was arrested Monday at the jail. Investigators said he admitted to touching the inmate. Police said the incident happened sometime on Friday.

Peters will be charged with rape by instrumentation, according to Pryor Police.
