After back-to-back intense battles against ranked foes, including Sunday's thrilling overtime loss to No. 5 Louisville, the No. 10 Oklahoma women's basketball team was in need of a break of sorts. They got it Wednesday night against UT-Arlington.

Nine Oklahoma players played at least 12 minutes as the Sooners cruised past the Mavericks, 99-46.

Freshman Derica Wyatt stole the show off the bench for the Sooners, scoring 23 points while hitting 7-of-11 attempts from 3-point range, tying the OU freshman record.

Aaryn Ellenberg led the Sooners with 24 points while Nicole Griffin had 13 points. Kaylon Williams added 10 points in 12 minutes, but was once again hampered by foul trouble. Freshman T'ona Edwards dished out eight assists against just three turnovers.

Morgan Hook scored her 1,000th on a layup 1:43 into the game, while Ellenberg hit her 300th 3-pointer four minutes in.

The Sooners forced 34 turnovers and turned those into 45 points. Oklahoma led the entire game and raced out to a 10-0 lead before UTA finally broke through at the 16:07 mark of the first half.

Up 25-12, the Sooners put the game away in the first half with an 18-0 run, the last 15 points coming on five 3-pointers from Wyatt. The Sooners led 52-19 at the break.

Oklahoma led by as many as 57. The Sooners are back in action on Sunday when they travel to Los Angeles to take on UCLA. The Sooners and Bruins split two matchups a year ago. UCLA defeated Oklahoma in Norman during the regular season, while the Sooners won in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
