A small earthquake was recorded near the city of Edmond Saturday afternoon.
The quake weighed in at 2.7 on the Richter Scale, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and was recorded at a depth of three miles.
It struck 10 miles northwest of Edmond, or about 21 miles north northwest of the OKC metro area.
No injuries or damage have been reported with this earthquake.
According to the USGS, quakes with magnitudes from 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans.
