There are a lot of food drives during the holidays, but one group is helping needy Tulsans with the basics, like medication and clothes.
That's what inspired a generous donation to Christ for Humanity Tuesday. The Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Eastern Oklahoma delivered a check for $5,000.
Every year, the group looks for charities that give back to those who need it most.
"It's an amazing blessing to be coming alongside and helping people in their time of need," said Richard Shoemaker, of MCA.
Christ for Humanity helps families with important necessities, including household items and other supplies.
