OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police have arrested two people they said were involved in a throat slashing robbery on November 5, 2013.

A third suspect has not been arrested.

Theresa McDonald and her boyfriend, Dennis Day Junior, were booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on charges of Assault with Intent to Kill, Kidnapping and Armed Robbery.

The arrest warrants stated the two robbed Virgil McKinney and slashed his throat at the Highlands Apartments in northwest Oklahoma City.

Court documents said a chance encounter a week before the robbery lead to the attack.

McKinney had gone to a gas station near Hefner and Western, where he said he met McDonald.

They exchanged numbers and when McDonald went to McKinney's apartment on November 5, court documents stated she brought along with two young black males armed with handguns.

McKinney said the suspects put duct tape around his hands and feet, then ransacked his place for "30 to 45 minutes."

He said as the suspects were leaving with his property, clothes and money, one of the guys pulled his head up by his hair and "slit his throat."

Neighbors said they called police when they heard McKinney pounding on doors for help.

When he could finally talk, the warrants stated McKinney helped investigators track down the boyfriend and girlfriend through cell phone records.

Day Jr, is currently in jail on a $500,000 bond and McDonald is in jail on a $200,000 bond.

Police have not arrested the third suspect and said Tuesday they have no information on his identity.

News 9 called the victim, but he did not want to talk about what happened.
