Police Arrest Suspect In North Tulsa Bank Robbery

Detectives Wednesday arrested a man suspected of robbing the bank inside a north Tulsa grocery store.

Detectives Wednesday arrested a man suspected of robbing the bank inside a north Tulsa grocery store.

Police identified Kevin Buckner, 34, as the robbery suspect.

A robber was caught on surveillance footage Tuesday afternoon at the Gateway Market at Pine and North Peoria. Police said he handed the employees a note demanding cash, implying he had a gun, then walked away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Buckner was booked into Tulsa County jail on a complaint of first degree robbery and some active warrants.

According to Department of Corrections records, Buckner has served time in prison for charges including second degree burglary, leaving the scene of an injury accident and resisting arrest.
