Thousands of shoppers in the Broken Arrow and Tulsa area woke up early Friday to hit the stores for those Black Friday specials.

Osage SkyNews 6 found some store parking lots packed, while others not so much.

Photojournalist Paul Stephenson and Osage SkyNews 6 pilot Will Kavanagh gave us a bird's eye view high above the stores and malls as folks got up early to go shopping.

Businesses expect about "140-million" people to get in on the bargain hunting this weekend.

A lot of shoppers say the crowds weren't as big as last year,  possibly because the deals started last night and were staggered more than they have been in the past.

Our view from the sky this morning seems to support that.

When our crew was flying around, it found a lot of parking spots around the malls and businesses along 71st Street.

The biggest crowd we found from the air was at Bass Pro in Broken Arrow.

But it wasn't without problems in other parts of the country. At a Walmart in Texas,  police had to break up a fight over $78 televisions.

And in Florida, a dad faces child neglect charges after he left a baby locked inside a car outside a Best Buy.

Another shopper broke the car's window and got the baby out.

The dad told police he thought his wife had taken the baby shopping with her at another store.
