A fight that broke out after a rap concert spilled over to the IHOP early Friday morning. Reports of shots fired at the restaurant led police from one scene to another.

Oklahoma City Police rushed to the IHOP in Bricktown to investigate reports of multiple gunshots. When officers pulled up, the suspect took off in a truck.

Police say the suspect's truck also matched the description of a vehicle involved in an altercation earlier in the evening.

Officers chased after the suspect through the downtown area and all the way to Midwest City. That's where the suspect ditched the truck and took off on foot

Officers canvassed the apartment complex near Oak Grove and Campbell Drive in Midwest City.

Eventually, officers caught the suspect hiding in a garbage bin.

While investigators went back to the IHOP and searched the parking lot for evidence, police say they recovered a gun and multiple shell casings, though no one was reported hurt in the shooting.

Police have not yet released the name of the suspect arrested, and police have not said if others involved the fight could also face criminal punishment.

We're told extra security were out and about in the Bricktown area Friday night following the shooting. Bricktown is expected to have extra visitors as the city kicks off its Downtown in December.
