Tulsa Police Ask For Help Finding Truck Used In Attempted Theft

Tulsa Police are on the hunt for a truck used in an attempted vehicle theft.

Tulsa Police are on the hunt for a truck used in an attempted vehicle theft. They issued photos of the truck in hopes the public can help them find it.

 A man and woman were in the white two-door truck at a parking lot at 1700 South Peoria Avenue at 12:28 p.m. on November 29, 2013. Police say a witness saw the two people trying to steal a vehicle parked in the lot.

When the man confronted the suspects, they claimed they were there to tow the vehicle, according to a police bulletin. The witness said he was calling the police, and the suspects drove off in the truck.

They were described only as a white male and white woman. Police say they believe the suspects may be responsible for similar thefts.
