Police Search For Man In East Tulsa Burglaries, Sexual Assault

Tulsa sex crimes detectives are searching for a man who is wanted in two burglaries and a sexual assault in East Tulsa.

Tulsa sex crimes detectives are searching for a man who is wanted in two burglaries and a sexual assault in East Tulsa.

According to a TPD news release, a woman who lives at the Greens of Bedford Apartments in the 10000 block of East 61st Street said she was awakened by a man touching her leg at 4 a.m. on Nov. 17. She told police she screamed, and he hit her in the face and ran out the front door.

The next week, on Nov. 28, a woman at the Sugarberry Apartments in the 10000 block of East 61st Street said she woke at 7 a.m. to find a man standing over her. He then sexually assaulted her, she said.

In both incidents, the man stole property from his victims.

The description by given by the two women matches, police said.

Investigators are looking for a 5-foot-10 to 6-foot black man, who weighs about 160 pounds and is between 20-30 years old. He is described as wearing a dark blue hoodie with "Michigan" across the front in yellow lettering.
