TULSA, Oklahoma -

One Tulsa parade is in for a real white Christmas after snow blanketed its route. Some parades had to cancel because of the weather, but crews are working overtime to make sure the streets are cleared for the Tulsa Christmas Parade.

It may be cold and snowpacked at Tulsa Hills, but the parade organizers say everything will be cleared by Saturday evening.

"We'll just see if the people come out. I mean, we hope they do, we enjoy having everybody out here. It's a really good deal, especially for the kids and the families," said Alex Marshall, manager of the Buffalo Wild Wings along the parade route.

Businesses in the shopping center saw traffic slow down because of the bad weather, but they're hoping the parade will fix that.

"That will bring in extra business and we'll be happy to take it," Marshall said.

The restaurant's parking lot gets packed during the Christmas parade. Marshall said they're ready for a big rush of customers once the parade passes by.

"We fill up very, very quickly. Obviously, it's cold outside people, want to come inside and get some hot wings," Marshall said.

All around the shopping center, crews were shoveling snow off the busy sidewalks and into large piles. One worker, Johnathan Puentes, said he had been out shoveling snow since 2 a.m. Friday.

Organizers say the plow crews will come out again before the parade starts.

"Be safe, be careful, dress warm," said organizer Mark Croucher.

The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. If you want a front row seat, get there about half an hour early, so you're inside the shopping center when they close the main drag down.

Look out for News On 6's Craig Day, Lori Fullbright and Travis Meyer. They are getting out of the warm studio to be the grand marshals of the parade.
