A Wynnewood boy, who received his dream tree house from the Make A Wish foundation back in August, has passed away on Friday.

Conrad Dixon, 7, had suffered a stroke and had been living with a severe immune illness that kept him inside a lot. He explained why he wished for a tree house. He wanted something he can play in despite his illness.

The Make a Wish Foundation had three weeks to plan the project. A crew took only three days to build the tree house for Conrad, and it's anything but ordinary.

News 9 was there when Conrad took a first look at the tree house.

Shortly after our story aired, Conrad moved to Colorado to receive his bone marrow transplant. According to family members, things were looking well for a little while. However, Conrad passed away Friday morning in Colorado.

To help cover the expenses of bringing Conrad home, as well as funeral and memorial services, family and friends started a fund. Click on this link if you would like to donate.
