Midtown residents were victimized in a series of armed robberies Sunday evening, according to Tulsa Police.

Midtown residents were victimized in a series of armed robberies Sunday evening, according to Tulsa Police.

Public Information Officer Jill Roberson said a man with a handgun robbed people in three separate incidents from about 6:30 to 7:10 p.m.

The first robbery took place outside Fit Foods, 1601 East 15th South, at about 6:30 p.m. Two employees were taking a break outside the restaurant when a black male approached them with a handgun, demanded cash and ran away.

He was wearing a blue windbreaker and gray hoodie with a Philadelphia Eagles beanie hat.

Then just before 7 p.m., a woman was robbed in her driveway in the 2200 block of South Lewis Avenue by a black male wearing a dark coat. He demanded her purse, Roberson said.

Another man was in his vehicle in his driveway when he was robbed by a black man wearing a dark coat.
