My 2 Cents: Bedlam Controversies

I'll be honest, I'm an OSU Cowboy fan and that Bedlam loss still smarts. The stadium was stunned when it all came crashing down at the end.

So let's just clear the air here...

This video has some fans feigning outrage that a Cowboy cheerleader would have the gall to stick his foot out to trip a Sooner player after the last play of the game; that humiliating fumble in the endzone that made a great ball game look like a beat down on the scoreboard.

Some are saying the kid needs to be kicked off the cheerleading squad. Give me a break!

They're screaming "the player could have been injured."

Really?!

The guy played 4 quarters of bedlam football in 15 degree weather and we're afraid he's going to get hurt because a cheerleader sticks his sneaker out in front of him.

If the shoe was on the other foot, so to speak, I wouldn't be screaming about it.

As far as the OU flag burning... hey that's bedlam hate. I've seen OSU stuff stomped on, too... that's what gives the game its name.

Throwing stuff at the Sooner players was classless, but the one thing that's inexcusable is throwing snowballs at the refs... those people should get in trouble.

Hey, being an OSU or OU player is kind of like having a brother, which I know plenty about.

You always want to beat them but if someone else starts messing with them you'll stand shoulder to shoulder to defend the state's honor.
