TULSA, Oklahoma -

Employees of Cox Oklahoma are doing their part to stop bullying in Tulsa.

The company gave a $50,000 grant to the Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice for their Middletown program. It's an anti-bullying program, which targets 7th graders in nearly 30 local elementary schools.

Cox Oklahoma gave smaller grants to 26 other non-profit and community agencies and celebrated by hosting a lunch for the organizations.

The grant money comes from the Cox Connects Foundation, which is funded through contributions by employees.

"Ninety-two percent of the employees in Cox, in Tulsa, give to the foundation," said Tiffany Bruton, of Cox. "'So proud' is an understatement. We're elated every year to see their continued generosity."

Cox employees suggest which non-profits receive grants each year.
