Authorities say a missing Logan County man has been found safe Sunday morning in Oklahoma City.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a call about the missing man on Dec. 12.

Investigators say 24-year-old Kenneth Hinkle was last seen walking away from a home located at 11700 Otis  Rd. in Guthrie, Okla. after family members played a prank on him.

Those family members tell police that they asked Hinkle twice where he was going, but he just kept walking. Family members say Hinkle does not have any close friends and does not have a cellular phone.

Just before 8 a.m. Sunday, December 15, the Logan County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Hinkle was found safe in Oklahoma City.

Hinkle's mother, Kari Lynn Gay, contacted News 9 and said family members did not play a prank on Hinkle, and that he just walked away on his own.

Hinkle is described as a white male, with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6'2" tall and weighs approximately 265 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black and yellow Pittsburgh Steelers coat with the team logo on the back. He also had on a blue and white ball cap with an "Andy's Drilling" logo, blue jeans and camouflage boots.

According to police, Hinkle is a non-insulin diabetic and has not had medication for nearly three days.
