Tulsa Police arrested a 22-year-old for allegedly opening fire on a car occupied by two people. Joseph Cheatham was booked into jail on two counts of shooting with intent to kill.

The victims told police they were driving down East Skelly Drive near Lewis Avenue at about 2:20 a.m. when another vehicle pulled in front of them. The driver of that vehicle reportedly got out of his car and started shooting.

"The victims' vehicle suffered multiple bullet holes, and multiple casings were recovered," the arresting officer said in his report.

Officers arrested Cheatham at the scene, and he was identified as the shooter by the two people in the car that was fired upon. Fortunately, the victims were not injured.
