Tulsa Crews Work To Repair East 21st Street Water Main Break

City of Tulsa crews are repairing a water main break near 21st and Harvard. The break in the 16-inch line was discovered late Monday.

City officials say a total of 28 homes and businesses will be without water until the break is repaired. The eastbound lanes of 21st Street have been closed while crews work on the line.

Officials say this week's drastic change in temperature caused the ground around the water pipe to shift which snapped the line.

Crews hope to have the pipe repaired by Tuesday afternoon.
